1. Introduction Owsy LLC (“Owsy”, “we”, “our” or “us”) develops and operates the BindHQ platform and related websites (collectively, the “Services”). Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Owsy discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Owsy's behalf or to provide services available on Owsy products, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Owsy products, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Owsy will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above, Owsy discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when Owsy believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Owsy, third parties, or the public at large. If you are a registered user of an Owsy product, we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with our products. Owsy takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide, operate, and continually improve the Services; enable secure login and collaboration features; comply with legal obligations—such as insurance record-keeping requirements; send transactional notices and occasional product updates (with the option to opt out); and generate aggregated, de-identified statistics for internal analysis. We share personal information only with Owsy employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that need the data to process it for us under confidentiality obligations; with service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery) bound by data-processing agreements; or when required by law or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Owsy, our users, or the public. We do not sell personal information. Because Owsy is headquartered in the United States, your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, and we protect such transfers with safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses. All data stored in BindHQ is encrypted at rest and in transit, and we maintain robust administrative, technical, and physical security controls to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Finally, we retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, satisfy legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

Google user data obtained via Google APIs. Content retrieved from your Google account (such as email messages or attachments you connect to BindHQ) is stored only while your BindHQ workspace remains active.  When your organization’s contract with Owsy terminates, all customer data—including Google user data—is deleted within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

You may also request early deletion of your Google user data at any time by emailing privacy@bindhq.com. We will honor verified requests within 30 days.

Your Privacy Choices & Rights Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@bindhq.com. California residents may also request information about categories of personal information we disclose for business purposes.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies We use first‑party cookies for session management and preferences. You can refuse cookies via your browser settings, but certain features (such as login) may not function.

Google User Data Our applications’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Policy Updates We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
